I found a GI Joe at an Arkansas Wal-Mart!

But, sadly, just one. It was the Man of Action, the figure I have a duplicate of. I asked the manager of the toy department, and she said they've never carried them and that was a return purchased at some other store.

Big thanks to Thunderbolt for picking up a Man of Action for my son Fletcher, and an even bigger thanks to Saildog for finding the whole set for me!!! Todd, I definitely owe you one!

I was just amazed to find the lone Man of Action sitting in the Rogers, Arkansas Wal-Mart! Of course, I had to buy it, even though between my son and I we now have three of them!

    Joe

That's great, Joe. I'm sure Fletcher will enjoy that. I just got my Black Adventurer, and yoiu guys were right; of all the figures, it does look closest to the original.

I don't think they are done releasing them. It appears that Wal-Mart is setting a case out at a time. I will see a couple of cases one day and then they'll be gone. A couple of weeks later another case. I have a feeling they're not done sending these out but if anyone needs any, pm me and I can look for them next time I am there.

I don't see any way they release this figure in the 3rd quarter of the year and don't pile em on for the Christmas holiday in the fourth quarter. Looks to me like they're throwing GI Joe chum into the water to get the sharks in a frenzy a little at a time and then they'll put up 50 foot tall displays of em at Christmas shopping time and they'll be devoured by the waiting throngs of toy shoppers.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I love those new old school Joes! Once I can afford it I'm going to head to the Denham Springs LA Walmart and buy one of each! They have a huge amount of them there for some reason and it doesn't look like anyone are buying them.
