They're calling for 8-18" here. Earlier it didn't look like there was that much out there, but it's still increasing and it looks like everything is closed.

We got about a foot and half overnight, on top of about 3 inchs and it's pretty bad... And yet school isn't being canceled? Incredible. They REFUSE to cancel school this year thus far, despite several days where they really, really needed to.

          Where are you?

All New York public schools were closed yesterday morning due to today’s pending show.

Woke up to about six inches and it's coming down hard and steady, we are supposed to get the worst of it this afternoon.

I like your guess better than what it really is. It's like mowing the lawn, but you're mowing the snow.

I think I'm up to at least 18" at this point, it's a total whiteout and this snow is heavy. My roof is loaded and It's only a foot from my furnace vent. I really don't what to climb up on my roof! Help!

We are officially beyond measuring the snow in Mego measurements. We are up to a couple 12" Six Million Dollar Man figures worth of snow in my neck of the woods!

Really? I was excited to say I'm up to four solid boxed Mego's high. Wishful thinking I guess.

Same thing. I just didn't want to take 4 solid boxed Megos outside in the snow to measure! Six Million Dollar Man figures are much more expendable!!
