Transformers -- boosted by the "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" movie in June -- took in $592 million in revenue in 2009

Wow. Compare that to the Box Office of the movie. I'm sure Toy Manufacturers will be the major movie financiers in the future. Movies as Two Hour commercials for the toys seems like the evolution from the half hour animated TV shows as commercials for the toys!
