Anybody seen " Terror of Tiny Town?" an all midget western with minature ponies and a mini brothel. Old black and whiote DVD packaged together with Reefer Madness.

How about " The Cripled Masters " GREAT Kung Fu flick. Two guys work as a team. One hasnt arms, one can't use his legs. These guys are GREAT! Can't hunt down the sequel . . .

Is the sequel The Crippled Avengers? With the same crew as 5 Deadly Venoms? If so, I've seen it and enjoyed it a great deal. They add in a blind guy, a deaf guy and a brain damaged guy IIRC.

It's hard to believe the studio ever agreed to make this film.
Somebody must have worked serious magic to get the green light for Freaks.

GOODBYE UNCLE TOM (aka ADDIO ZIO TOM). I never thought this insane film would ever get a legit DVD release but it did (part of Blue Underground's Mondo Cane collection)

Song of The South...Another title that came out on LD in Japan and video in the UK, but will never see the light of day here in the US. Don't know what Disney was thinking back then with the whole Brer Rabbit Tar Baby sequence in the movie. I understand it was in the original tales of the book...but what were they thinking.
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
            The beauty that surrounds them
            Isn't it a pity".

Maybe they billed it as an "educational Film" back then. Lots of expolotation got in that way.

However i like to see different people being able to make a living. as they said in a documentary about the closing of the side shows a lot of the "acts' were making mony and humanizing thier conditions .Plus they knew they were going to get stared at anyway. Now theyre on Social Security.

I was dissapointed when I got to Australia and found out Midget tossing had been outlawed. Those guys were celebrities!

I dont want to go back to the day of hiding people in the back bedroom because we cant handle seeing them..

DOnt know about the Crippled Avengers Samuri but thanks for teh tip.I'll look for it.

The Crippled Avengers is sometimes billed as the Return of the 5 Deadly Venoms.

Well, it's not "classic" in the sense that it's old Movie...but I consider it a classic:

It actually saw a VHS release in the states too. But like some bugs bunny cartoons it's too politcally uncorrect for Disney to consider a release (even the crowes in Dumbo is less bigoted than Uncle remus)

Actually, the VHS release of Song of the South was in the UK, not the US. It was in Pal version and you had to convert it to work on US VHS machines.

I remember my parents used to take us to see that movie every single time it came out in theaters and I had no memories of there being anything inappropriate in it.

I have seen it as an adult in one of the converted formats and although I can understand that some might be offended by the tar baby and maybe the way some of the actors talked; it was a really good film and to me it was more of a story about how friendship and love doesn't have color or social barriers and it took a kid and Uncle Remus' character to show the other characters of the movie this valuable lesson.
