There ya go, multi-region/format players come in handy.

I'm still waiting for Bakersfield PD to be released on DVD, it was a short lived show but funny as hell. There's also a British show here called The Riff-Raff Element that hasn't been released, it used to have me in stitches.

Massacre at Central High - great B movie slasher/revenge flick

Logan's run WAS released on DVD and Blu-ray. I have it on Blu-ray and it looks darn good.

The true amount of films, etc that haven't been released on Region 1 DVD would be staggering. But I second the recommendation for a laserdisc player, AND a region free multi-format DVD player, because you'd be surprised how many films and TV shows that aren't available in North America on DVD have been released in other countries. And with the internet, it's very easy to buy releases from other countries. Why limit yourself to domestic releases when there's so much more available in the rest of the world.

Electra Woman and Dyna Girl complete series
Johnny Sokko and His Giant Robot or Voyage Into Space.

Well...the Beatles Cartoon series was never officially released....and as for Let It Be...I've done a Laserdisc transfer from the LD I own. I've watched the movie a few times in the past 10 years and I have to say...it's so depressing that you may NOT want it to be released. Best thing about it is the Rooftop concert. What bugs me the most is the footage that was shown in the Anthology is definitely cleaned up...so they had intentions of a re-release. I won't hold my breath though.

That's why it's great having my Laserdisc player...the stuff that's not released on DVD was released on LD. I've got Let It Be as well as Rockshow on LD...and the unedited Looney Toons Cartoons and Tom and Jerry cartoons. Laserdisc players can be found on the cheap these days...might be worth the investment for anyone that has to have those out of print movies.

I used to think that too....but they're taking so long I grabbed one of those bootleg 30-disc master sets...it's got everything but new commentaries and features, which by the time they release a legit version, all of the principal players will have extremely faulty/selective memories or just be dead. So as it stands right now, I'm pretty happy with that set, even without an "official" label on it.

Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends, the 60's Filmation Batman, and the solo early 80's Spider-Man series. Amazing Friends has been released in region 2 so I may eventaully break down and get a multi-region player.

The 67 Fantastic Four and Marvel Toons. Maybe now that Marvel and the cartoons are owned by the same company. Frankenstein Jr/The Impossibles is another MIA.
