Snowbound Mego friends: What are your kids doing today?

So a lot of you have posted about the heavy snow you're getting, and if you have kids, that probably means they may be stuck inside this weekend. Do you plan special indoor things so they don't drive you nuts? Park 'em in front of the TV/DVD/video games? Play Megos with 'em? Have indoor olympics? Couch cushion forts? Baking cookies?

What are your rugrats up to today?

We took 'em sledding in the afternoon. A lot of the parks around here have sledding hills, usually one for big kids & one for little kids. Of course when we got to the park our youngest had to use the bathroom...which was not possible. So, a quick trip to McD's later and we were on the hill. The wife watched from the car, while the boy went by himself and the girl went with me. Nice time; no major drama or injuries (knock wood); I'm stiff & sore .

we got no snow this time out but when we do get the big storms I usually have the kids outside playing while I am clearing the driveway with the snow blower.

It was my daughter's birthday yesterday, so she had all of the neighborhood over. Our floors got a bit wet and cake-like. Glad there are other kids her age on our street.
          It's all good!

There really wasn't much we could do outside. 30 inches of snow so we spent most of the weekend just trying to shovel our driveway and wait for the snowplows to come out yesterday. We watched a few movies and the kids fooled around on the internet. I finally got some time to catch up on some book reading.
