Led Zep Re-union talk again- Music!!

Who knows how well they will sound today, but I think it would be cool.

Eddie Trunk is a seasoned radio personality, talk show host, and author, he has dominated the hard rock and heavy metal scene with his electrifying shows, including the legendary That Metal Show and Eddie Trunk Rocks.

I am as big of a Zeppelin fan as they come I just wish they would stop releasing greatest hits CDs. How many of these do we really need??

Funny you should mention that. I've been recently rediscovering the "old" Yardbirds.

Ignore the comments. Page is awesome as were his New Yardbirds.

If I can't go back in a Time Machine I'm not interested. It's why i missed the Police this year. I saw the Roger Waters tour a few years ago and it just made me wish I'd been old enough to see Pink Floyd in 1977.

On the other hand, I heard the first single from Robert Plant's collaboration with bluegrass artist Allison Krauss and I think it is amazingly great. On with the new I say.

I saw Page and Plant when they toured in the '90s. Good stuff but it did make me wish to see Zep in their prime.

Why?....What next Paul and Ringo get together? Zeps Days are over and done with Wish the Stones would get a clue and go away too.

In defense of the old guys, I gotta say this. I saw Bob Seger live last year and he kicked as much arse as he did 10 years before. His album from last year "Face the Promise" was the best thing he'd done since Against the Wind. Great stuff.

I am also a HUGE Eagles fan, and they have a new video out from their upcoming album "The Long Road Out of Eden". The new song "How Long" sounds just like them in their 70s heyday. In fact, it's more Eagle-like than anything new off the "Hell Freezes Over" tour. I saw them on that tour, and they did every song pitch-perfect, just like the albums. They still got it.

Plant and Allison Krauss, huh? I'll have to check that out!

Cool news, I'm a big fan. I hope there is a video release of this down the road (hopefully in HD).

I might have cared when I was younger. I lost so much respect for them when I found out how much of their material they blatantly stole.

You'd be surprised how many bands "steal" or subconsciously borrow ideas from other musicians. It's apart of being a musician. It happens a lot, most of the time not intentionally.

To damn Led Zeppelin for cashing in on their roots and bringing it to live through their music is not right. There are far more worse acts of plagiarism out there.

Led Zeppelin are Rock gods and will go down as that. Simple.
