A Tiny Little Piece of Star Trek Comin True?

Just something I have been noticing the last couple of years has been the comfluence of some portable tech that reminds me of a Trek Tech device.

Smart phones with big LCD touch screens, Kindle Book readers, digital still and video cameras, portable media players, and laptop computers have all been trending towards the same size and morphing towards each other.

Within 5 years, we will hve something about the size of a thick paperback novel that will be a portable TV, video conference capable cell phone, laptop computer, and all that other stuff combined. Battery life may be the tricky part here, but even that has been improving steadily for years.

It's called TREK-TEK if it's like Star Trek stuff. Pretty much the flip open cel phone is trek-tek. And the most common one.
