My parents are in that area, my can't miss spot is Emerald City, the Seminole location has tons of mego/doc mego and other collectibles. Nice staff, decent prices and the owner is a big mego fan.

    Seminole Location:
    9249 Seminole Blvd.
    Seminole, FL 33772
    727-398-BOOK (2665)

The last time I was there, my grandmother bought me a Neptunian loose complete for $30. She insisted that she buy it, 30 years later and she's still buying me megos.

Thanks B. I'll mapquest it and add it to my list. Hope I don't have to fight your Grammy for a sweet deal on a Mego figure. Grammy's are great. Mine bought me some awesome stuff when she was still here.

My Mom in laws boyfriend splits the year between NH and FL. She's there with him for the winter so we're visiting. Most likely an annual ritual from this point forward. May have some other family moving down a little closer to your neck of the woods. They're looking on the SE coast. Probably won't happen for a year or two. I've looked at some places near Vero Beach but not for moving there now. Maybe later. If I find the right place at the right price. Hoping to get back there later this year once the Potter stuff opens at Universal. Probably during the summer months if it happens.

Not too far from Emerald City is the Wagon Wheel flea market. They take flea markets to an extreme down here. Hit it on Saturday morning, the makeshift pull-your-truck-up stalls have some interesting stuff.

I was wondering if the Wagon Wheel was still around.

I actually found that with an online search. Won't be in until Sat night but might hit it on Sunday morning if I can. Thanks for the input.

Sunday is good as well. If you're there before nine-ish the Vietnamese stands will still be open with tons of fresh fruit and fish. Most of the good/weird stuff is outside, the labyrinth of indoor stalls can be good, but lots of generic new crap. Down by the water at the beer tent area it's either redneck karaoke or some weird Central American all-Gelfling pan flute band.
The Oldmar flea market is another good people watching place, but any Megos I've ever seen there are overpriced beaters.
Not sure if it's still around, might even be another Emerald City come to think of it, but there was a decent selection of Megos at the comic shop in the strip mall on the corner of Enterprise Rd and McMullen Booth Rd in Clearwater.

Good info, thanks. My inlaws live in St. Pete and my company owns a house in Kissimmee, so I am down in that area for a week every summer.
