I cancelled my Cotswold catolog subscription because of stripper Barbies.

If you didnt know Cotswold is a GI Joe catolg. they make replacement parts etc. 20 years ago they only sold vintage pieces etc. I used to call a few years ago because of teh new non Military 12 inch guys coming out. They saids they would never carry them.

Today the catolog is one third military , one third Hollywood SCi fi-Horror- Superheroes, one third Stripper Barbies.

I pick up my mail from the postman in person and Its one thing to look them in the face and smile because I play with dolls , but the stripper guntoting chicks on teh cover embarrassed me.

Interchangable busts. Sheesh.

Ever heard of the "Billy Doll" ? Its a male gay Gi Joe thats anitomically correct. Comes dressed as the village people. My friend told me about it when I said I had teh Ultimate GI Joe. I had put one together with Eagle Eye , Kung Fu grip, Realstic ( Read Astro Turf) hair and beard , and a repaired talker.

I wouldnt want a Ken anything. Hes worse than Cobra, the Intruders, and Soilders of teh world combined I HATE KEN. ( though he had flocked hair first.

Interesting note. In Barbie collector books Ken used to not be listed with the dolls, he was considered an ACESSORY. Like a car.

The lady I always called to place orders said the Girl dolls were very popular. Not very pretty though. Guess no ones looking at the face.

Personally I dont like the new military stuff. Wer'e in a war . Remeber what happened with the Green Beret Joe. I would rather have some buffer of history between me and the soldiers. Revolutionary war is cool.

My ex girlfriend is into 12 inch Indiana Jones big time. SHe doesnt like the Nazi ss stuff. I have to draw the line there too.
