At the time, it went over pretty good. They had Cardboard cut outs of Batman and Robin enforcing the "law of toyland" hanging in the stores and everything. Heck, at the time it was the only new Batman stuff on tv. I think it ran for about two years then went away. DC probably wanted more money becouse the film came out in 89' and Bat-mania was back in full swing!?
What the..? I don't remember those at all, but they are awesome. They even had promotional displays and everything at the time? Wow, why don't I remember this promotion? I'm sure I was haunting Zellers locations looking for Star Wars toys on clearance around that time period.
