Back some months ago there was a thread on how bad rob zombie hacked halloween 2. I'm not sure what kind of koolaid i was slipped at the theater but my wife is out of town for the night so i just rewatched it. I really honestly liked his first one, maybe it was my desire to make the second effort good but how could i have possibly ever said anything good about that movie. Wow was it bad.

My favorite movie of all time (Halloween, not II) and they get Rob Friggin Zombie to direct. I hated it! Hairy, slovenly, biker casted version of my favorite movie! I have no desire WHATSOEVER to see HII after suffering through the first. I can't tell you how disappointed I was and still am, over this. The Friday the 13th reboot/remake won't win any academy awards, but I loved it, and it was 100 billion zillion times better than Zombie's piece of utter crudola.

It's worse than words can possibly describe. If you are a Halloween fan, do yourself a favor and DO NOT see the reboots. Once seen, it can't be unseen.

Most of my friends hated both but the one or two people I know who enjoyed the first said the second was terrible.

I enjoyed the first for what it was. A remake of an excellent horror flick. Nothing compares to the original. I will not see halloween 2.

The first one was good had a more to tell on mikey's childhood.Its not bad at all but man I was so tempted to by the second one.Well I had the mego critics on my head.....so I passed.

I liked what he did with the first one actually. For a minute you actually see what makes mikey go bad. Part 2 however might be the worst remake ever since friday the 13. I still don't know how you leave out the music and then he runs and is all mental psycho oh yeah and is also a worlds markman with an arrow.
