Question for New Yorkers

Ok, back in the early 70s, WPIX would show a half hour of cartoons featuring Aquaman, The Lone Ranger and .....? I can't remember. Can anyone help me out? I know that in between the cartoons, the bumper would play The Popcorn Machine song by Hot Butter, (pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop).

Anyone know what I'm talking about? What was the 3rd cartoon?

I found a listing that stated The Lone Ranger was teamed with the animated Tarzan show also from Filmation for a while and syndicated on several stations in the early 80's. Would make sense since the Aquaman was from Filmation's too.

Found another...How about ZORRO? The Tarzan/Lone Ranger/Zorro Adventure Hour (1981–1982).

Thanks, but this was the 70s. It wasn't the same Lone Ranger cartoon that Filmation released. This one came out in the 60s. But the cartoon line-up I'm speaking of was back in the 70s. On WPIX.

No. It was someone in the superhero realm. I remember the bumper (Popcorn song) in between commercials, had Lone Ranger, Aquaman and I don't know if it was Superman, or Batman or something...I thought Anthony (Toyroom) would be all over this!

The only Lone Ranger I remember seeing is the live action one.

It was Batman. I remember it Clearly. Pix use to give it in the morning. Along with Jack La Lane and The Beatles Cartoon.

Yeah! That's it...I remember watching Jack LaLaine too. I used to think that LaLaine was the blonde woman exercising w/ him in the leotards!
