    Paypal questions

    Hey gang,

Due to being unemployed I need to sell some things, and figured it would be easier to do with paypal as a option.

I have a few questions about it:

Can you receive payments if you only have a personal account, or do you need premier?

If you have your debit card listed in credit card area, will payments go into your account or do you need to set it up with bank account and routing number?

    Any help is appreciated,

    Thanks

    For the love of Mego's

I think you can receive payments if you have apersonal account; I'm pretty sure I have in the past. The payments you receive won't go straight into your account though, you'll have to transfer it from your Paypal balance to your bank account.

You will be better off trying to get the buyers to send you in a cheque though; that way you will avoid any Paypal charges.

If you move money from your paypal account to your bank account I think you have to pay fees as well

          Huh?
I once did and they charged me for it, that's why I've never done it again.

It may depend on the method of transfer. It may involve costs for international bank accounts, I'm not sure, I just know it doesn't cost me anything, and takes just a couple of days.

Yea, it's free here anyway. I think there is a limit on personal PP acount as far as how much you can take in a month.

I think with a personal account, paypal charges a higher fee when you accept Credit Cards.

It is free to transfer your paypal balance to your bank account but on the personal accounts there is a monthly limit of $ 500 for transfers.

Do you have a bank account linked to your paypal account? It is free here in the US to do transfers.

Yes, I do. Guess it must be an international thing, like Paul said
