Well, a couple weeks after celebrating our 7th wedding, I got a couple of bombshells this month. First, my wife got fired from her job because she was accused of stealing. The following week she proceeded to reveal something else and as a result of this second revelation we are getting divorced.
While we're trying to handle it amicably, the legal and court fees are going to put me in the red. Plus, all the bills we were sharing I'm now going to have to take care of on my own.
It tears me up, but it looks like there's no other way for me to get through this without selling off all of my collection. On the one hand it bugs the heck out of me because I just got back a really nice carded set of Trek figures from a member here. I swore up and down I'd never get rid of those, but I just can't see how I can justify keeping any of this stuff.
On the other hand, with all this garbage going on, I can honestly say there's a part of me that just dosen't give a crap anymore. And frankly, I can't even imagine starting this collection over again. I can't even see a time in the future when I could afford loose figures, let alone the carded stuff.
Anyway, I'll try and offer up the stuff here to you guys first before going to eBay with it. I'll probably start with my loose Trek stuff first, move on to the carded stuff and the rest of my Trek and comic collection. If you can, please take a look. I know everyone's looking for a good deal, I'll try and offer it for as reasonable a price as I can, but this is all I've got so I've gotta get the most bang for my buck. Thanks.
After I get some of this stuff sold, I'll offer up my Mego Museum cards.
