Jim Rockford May Replace Leno

NBC has just OK'ed a couple dramas in the hopes of having a few programs for the 10:00 hour. One of them includes a remake of the 'The Rockford Files." I don't know how far along in development it is, but if they are aiing to air it as soon as March it has to be pretty far along.

I think it will be awfully hard to replace Garner, not to mention the writers attached to that show. It was also a unique show in its approach to the detective role. The whole character won't be as novel as it was then. All that said, I'll try and keep an open mind.

Maybe James Garner can play Rocky.....nah that's too much stunt-casting....

That's a dead timeslot for that kind of a show.

I can save them a whole bunch of money telling them it's going to fail after the first 6 episodes - if it even makes it that far.
