    The price of gas

This hasn't been a subject here for awhile, not since we were in the 3.50 + range .But holy cow the first of December I pair 2.34 a gallon and now its up to 2.79.What happened,is it just because its winter,no storms in the Gulf,no oil rig shutdowns. What do you think caused the price jump? What are you paying at the pumps now?

About 269.00 here. Most of the current increase is the investors. They see the cold weather and buy oil. The more they buy the higher it goes. Demand is up, but there is plenty of oil from everywhere. Right now it's pure Wall street.

Europe has better mass transportation than America as well. Unless you live in a city here, you need a car.

We are around 2.79 I think right now. Still far too high

It's not greed, It's investors that dictate the oil prices at the moment. If people weren't buying it, gas would not be going up. A lot of the investors or investment groups represent a lot of people Ira's and other investment portfolio's.

                              It's 93.9cents/litre here in winnipeg,MB,Canada.
Equals if i'm correct 3.78litres to 1us then $3.54 gallon.
So who's really getting screwed here?
                              That's right the UK...
