ChipMunks 2 .. Anyone ?

Yeah ok ...,

I have been Drowning in a Sea of Non-Stop BS directed Towards Children since the X-mas Vaction Started with the Boy... Pretty much for the Most part Just nonsense....

Well, I was somewhat of a Fan of the 1st film..., and enjoyed it for what it was worth,.. and most definately thought it was one of the Better "Kiddie" Flicks I have personally scene in Quite sometime ...

So , The Boy Dragged me to this today..., as "His Movie choice" ... At 1st I was Horrified at the thought of wasting Money when I heard His selection...

But I must say...
I didn't think it was too Bad...,
A good Family Flick, that somewhat Holds up to the 1st one..., not as good , as the 1st,.. but still good imo. I escaped,.. with mental status in Tacked , and pretty possitive.

Man..., I have scene so much straight up BS..., That I found Chipmunks 2,.. kinda good. Thank God school starts back up tommorrow.

I was dragged to Chipmunks on Friday. I sat there trying to listen to an Agatha Christie mystery on my MP3 player, but the chipmunks kept singing too loud. Gotta get some noise cancelling headphones.

I'll wait til it comes out on cable. (that's how I happened to see the first one, channel surfing one morning). I have an old 1961 copy of The Alvin Show record album, and I did like the 80s series and The Chipmunk Movie, But I really didn't see the need to update it w/ live action actors, and CGI Chipmunks. It's just yet another remake in the long line of crap we're constantly bombarded with.

I didn't think the first one was all that bad either. Not a classic by any stretch but there are a heck of a lot worse flicks out there. I'll check out the new one when it hits DVD or cable.

So....was it a bait and switch tactic with Jason Lee as Dave Seville? From what I hear he's in the movie briefly even though he is featured prominently in the commercials.....

My son treated the family to it for Christmas, We all enjoyed it. Obviously you have to take it for what it is.. A fun kiddie romp. We had a fun time.

Yeah Jason Lee had more of an extended cameo, maybe 15min on film.

I swear..., I think I have literally scene everything The Kiddie Movies have to offer these last few Weeks,.. some very Horrible stuff that for some reason just attracts Money.

Monsters VS Aliens was a bad bad movie. It had a lot of potential with the concept, but it didn't live up to it. Too bad Jason Lee is only in it briefly, he'd be a reason I'd go see it.
