In order for your favorite team, and mine, to make it to the playoffs one of three things must happen:

1) Steelers win and Houston loses or ties, and New York Jets lose or tie.

2) Steelers win and Houston loses or ties and Baltimore loses or ties.

3) Steelers win and New York Jets lose or tie and Baltimore loses or ties and Denver loses or ties.


It took 3 nuclear engineers, a quantum physicist, and a peepshow janitor, 5 days to come up with these scenarios.

I think both the Patriots and Bengals will lay down so the Steelers can't get in. Your talking about 3rd and 4th seeds here, so there is nothing to play for. The Steelers are out, but it's their fault, not The Patriots or the Bengals.

Plus, if it comes down to it, I could see the Bengals intentionally letting the Jets win so they can have a rematch in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Yep. As a Dolphins fan, I feel the same way, I love rooting for the team, but if they couldn't win when it mattered, why see them get to the playoffs. Ravens are my second favorite team, and I don't think they will get very far, either. They, too, haven't been able to get their defense to keep the other team down when it mattered.
