Please drink responsibly this New Years Eve.

I am currently recovering from being rear ended by a drunk Hit and Run SUV driver the Monday after Thanksgiving.

Please drink responsibly this New Years Eve.

Caught him 45 minutes later. Stalled on the side of the highway heading back to work. He was in a new Nissan Murano! Witness gave me the tag number and it matched the VIN located on the top of the bumper cover he left in my trunk.

I was stopped at the light. Two lanes of traffic had just finished turning in front of me. He was exceeding the 35 limit. Probably 45-50 or more.
I am alive and hurting. Thankfully my wife and kids were not with me.

I too have been in a hit and run on NYEvil. But then, I have also worked in bars on that day for 15 or so years of my life. Have a designated driver and if you are that des driver. watch out!! We called Halloween and New Years 'amature night' in the clubs I ran sound in. Not only are there LOTS more folks out partying, but most of them rarely do this sort of thing and do NOT know how to behave themselves when they are drinking.

                          Glad you are around now.

And I got the drinking responsibly covered, because I don't drink at all usually.

Wow! That's horrible! Hoping you have a speedy recovery!

I have not had ANY booze in 5-6 years!
I used to go out on Saturday. I walked! Used to power drink.
                            I don't miss it.

Oh my goodness! I am so glad you are ok...and the kids were not with you. How scary. I don't usually go out on New Year's eve/day because that's when they usually have an apes marathon.
