Basil Rathbone & Nigel Bruce are THE version of Holmes & Watson. And while Bruce's Watson is a bit more bumbling than many would prefer, he's also very endearing in the role, and fiercly dedicated to his friend Holmes. I watched a couple of the films on TCM today, great stuff.
I very much liked the Jeremy Brett series as well.
Anyone remember a Holmes in Space cartoon from a few years back (and not a very good one either?)Comment
