James Cameron curses out an autograph seeker

I'm well aware of Cameron being a legendary jerk to work for, but in this set of circumstances, I think he was completely correct in what he did. He was baited by this guy who clearly had TMZ cameras with him to antagonize Cameron. I think Cameron was completely within his right to tell the guy off. Just another tabloid publicity stunt. Dish it out to them James!

I believe no star really has to give their autograph to anyone especially at an airport. Freek that.....If it would have been a kid yeah i can see stopping and signing but an adult male with a piece of Paper. Nope. If he were a real fan he would have been just happy to say hello.......

Hmm...

Well it seems to me that celebrities ARE entitled to their privacy. Being hounded for an autograph while a camera is stuck in your face can be pretty annoying. Especially when you have just gotten off a plane, are tired and just want to go home.

Having said that, there are NICER ways to turn down an autograph seeker than to say, "Leave me the F--k alone".

Cameron may have earned his celebrity, and he certainly has a right to his privacy. He need not sign an autograph if he does not wish to.

But he has NOT earned a right to be rude / abusive to others... something that he is notorious for.

From what I can tell, Cameron being rudely dismissive of the initial request for the autograph is what caused this episode in the first place.

And then the autograph hound, in turn, played it up for the cameras.

No innocent parties here from what I can see.
