Anyone else like Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas ?

A buddy of mine loned me Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas on DVD.

Man, that brought back some good memories ...

I still remember watching it new on HBO

    Nice story, great songs ...

My only complaint is the DVD version hacked out all the Kermit the Frog parts --- Thanks Disney

Anyway, a great under-rated holiday special that don't insult a kid's intelligence and is very watchable and enjoyable for adults.

The version I borrowed is the Collector's Edition from 2005 ....

All the Kermit parts are edited out of this edition

                  OMG! You got mashed potatoes?

I forgot all about that special. That was one of my childhood favorites. Thanks for the memory.

Paul Williams deserves all the credit for writing every single song overly catchy.

When it comes to song writing, the man is a genius

love this movie, remember watching it over and over every year at Christmas. I picked up the 2005 release on DVD but my kids did not like it.....guess they are too used to CGI these days and muppets don't do it for them
