My friend who makes really cool costumes for herself doesnt get THAT into character. When the rubber omlette on her head comes unglued the Klingonese stops.

From what I used to read the costumes are a symbol. I JUST dont think they understand the symbol might not being taken as they think it is.
    Instead of "Good Guy at work " I think it says . . . uh . . .
Now that I understand. My brothers are really into the Renaissance fairs. For them the fairs are an extension of fantasy role-playing, and an excuse to get drunk in public. The symbol thing I understand, but I totally agree with you on the public reaction of "uh..."

OOP! I think you just talked me out of it!
You are a good man Charlie Brown.

I just don't want to read about the Orange Disco Mugato in the morning paper and have to explain to my wife, "Hey, I know that guy!"

The best way to reach these folks is to let the police do it, or the public mobs.. whichever happens first.

If you want to make a costume and have some fun as a super villain there is already an established public forum for such behavior; Comic Book Conventions.

Be safe TrueDave, practice safe heroing!

Man! I never thought they would attack me! But a scary orange monster with a dong on his head might be JUST what they are dreaming of. Wow.
All kidding aside my film buddies love doing little funny videos but now that you have me looking at it again . . .

The only thing more embarrassing than a Vigilante Nerd is getting my *** kicked by one.

You my friend are the hero today. Thank you.

As for the convention. Yeah. The guy that shows up at Motor City comicon as Wonder Woman all the time seems happy.

I agree No black outfit. No mask.
