Actually their online store has the 3 pack available right now for $34.99 which I guess isn't bad considering you get 3 if you really needed to have one.

Toys r us online has had these availible off and on all day. Just a 3 pack and a couple of the playsets though. There is still time to get them by Christmas if you still want them. Ive been looking for them for 6 weeks and was just about to give up. I used this online tracker: Zhu Zhu Pets In Stock Availability Tracker from zooLert.com - Find Zhu Zhu Pets In Stock In Stock!. It lloks like Amazon has a playset listed at retail right now as well.

I wasn't going to do it but, etoys had them so I got 2 for my nices and 1 for my cousins kid. I don't know if my cousin was able to get one or not so I pulled the triger.

I happened to be in the toy department of my local Meijer store last Friday when a shipment of these critters arrived. The customers were all well behaved; It was the employees running around as if Jesus himself was walking the toy department aisles! I was there to buy a simple Scrabble game and the employees were shoving toy rodents in my face. I explained that I did not have child for which to purchase one. The gal told me that I should buy two anyway because "EVERYONE wants these". She actually rolled her eyes at me when I declined and left without one,...I mean why wouldn't someone want a mechanical hamster? LOL

Locally (St. Louis) Our Wal-Marts had ups signs saying they're making 90 available each morning at 7:00 AM, 1 per customer, Monday-Wednesday.

TRU was doing 2 per customer starting at 6:00 AM Sunday-Wednesday.

I grabbed one for my daughter on my way to work yesterday. Line wasn't bad at 7:00 -- I had maybe 30 people ahead of me in line, got to pick the color I wanted, and get out in the space of about 15 minutes.
