Well, looks like other than Mich. losing, Tenn was the only top 25 team to lose, but that was to a higher ranked team, so looks like the Thugs of UM will not be in the top 25 next week.

You do see a lot of upsets at the college level but it doesn't happen as much in football as it does in basketball.

Michigan was a major contender for the National Championship this year and now they are one and done.

These are supposed to be the fun alumni first home game warm up games until the real season starts.

Even though I am an ACC follower (graduated from Univ. of Maryland), I was still shocked.

The Hurricanes need to go through a couple of years of rebuilding before they become a force to be reckoned with again. The Maryland Terrapins beat them last year and it's not like Maryland is a football powerhouse (especially of late).

I think the O-H is a reference to The Ohio State University with an emphasis on "The" as though it is the only college that begins with "The".
