We are planning to phase out the raffle (though maybe not the custom raffle - it is up to Brian and Dave.) It ends up costing a lot for Dave in terms of time and postage, and I don't think (Brian will correct me if I'm wrong) we even brought in $1000 last time.

The Amazon link doesn't bring in that much - maybe $100/year, which DOES help. (The actual costs for the server, bandwidth, yearly domain registration and yearly software renewal is $1629)

We don't want anyone to donate unless they can afford to do so, and the Museum is NOT going away.

Just sent my paypal too. I spend at least 30 min. of each work day here, so I should help pay. (Don't tell the boss though )

Sorry to see the raffle going away. I thought it was fun to see what wound up being donated. I put in a small amount and will do so again throughout the year.
            It's all good!

              Up yer bandwith

Even the stereotypically cheap Scotsman(me) made a donation! I love visiting this place on a regular basis.

Pity that you can't seem to donate more than $1,000.

Just out of interest, how long will the donate button be there? Would rather do it the new year if that's at all possible.

Hmm. You know, I bet we can fix it so you can donate $2000 if you really want to, Wolfie.
