    The snow is here!!!

    In Janesville, Wisconsin here!!!!

Woke up this morning to take the kids to school.
Thankfully I got new tires this summer. Popped the jeep into 4'Wheel drive and got through this snow....blowing snow....falling snow...

This is unfortunatley not Jaguar season. The car is covered up in the garage. Things like that make me sad.

    Looks something like this...

Unbelievable. I haven't seen Wisconsin get hit this early in awhile!!!

I am back home and have lots of computers to work on today. Don't plan to go too far.

I'm jealous. We're getting RAIN in Louisville after a night in the 20's... go figure. Heavy down pours expected... It's nuts.

Yeah, I remember living in the u.k, it was ridiculous, 3mm of snow, and the whole country would come to a stand still.

I remember in 1990 when I moved to WI, it snowed in OCTOBER! I was thankful that I was driving my ex's 4WD truck that day. I'd never driven in snow before that point.

I'm sitting here at 9am, and it's 38 degrees! Winter is here! BBRRRRRR!

Our children's school's are in the city limits. If it ever were to close, they make it two hours late first (to see if it is get any worse) then they will close it but that is rarely.
It has to be blowing snow up to 9 inches and the road plows can't get to it because it keeps coming down to fast to remove.

They rarely close the schools here.

Dude. I absolutely hate the snow. When you seen enough of that in a lifetime, you grow to despise that ****.

We also got hit in Maryland over the weekend.

Not as much but 2 or 3 inches. It started snowing again last night but later turned to rain and pretty much washed away any accumulation.

Same thing happens as in the UK. Everyone goes crazy when it snows an inch. Everyone runs to the store and buys up all the milk, eggs, and bread (must be some type of primal survival instinct) and the schools shut down in an instant.

I really don't think we have the best snow removal system around which is part of the problem but people don't know how to drive in it either. It is unbelievable how many vehicles I see that have wiped out during a typical storm. Most of them are 4wd SUV's...I guess some owners think they can just drive 60 mph on ice and their SUV will take care of them.

Everything is officially shut down and closed!

We here in Wisconsin (Rock county) are officially buried and under a blizzard storm warning until Thursday!!!
