Funny thing; I saw an interview with the guy who made that declaration. I guess he gets TONS of hate mail (mostly from kids) about that.

Along the same lines, selling items on Ebay with very specific terms regarding time to pay, insisting insurance, etc. and asking politely not to bid on the item if you can not meet the terms only to have someone bid and win your auction and then begin demanding concessions to your terms as though they are negotiable after the fact.

I'm not sure if this is the case in Belgium but some states in the U.S. require you to have your car inspected every single year and you have to pay out of your pocket for it.

Just got back from my boys' Xmas concert. Not a SINGLE classic Xmas song. I got to hear a bunch of multi national holiday songs which was fine and the concert was fun but MAN I want to hear Santa Claus is Comin' to Town and some others!!!!! That bothers me like you wouldn't believe! Not even ONE classic! I REALLY hate that.

That really sucks. Everything these days has to be so PC. I work at a multi-cultural school, and this year we're doing songs in Tagolog, Chinese, Spanish, a Hannukah song, but we are doing JINGLE BELLS!

The #1 thing that bothers me is people forgetting how to have fun when they get older. Two of the most fun events I've been to all year were Mego Meet and my 20 year class reunion and after-party. I liked them both for the same reason. Hanging with agroup of people who I could actually talk to and generally just having a good time.
I despise most "adult" gatherings such as family get togethers not because I don't want to see people but because someone's operation is a lively topic of conversation. Ditto for converations about work when most people are just happy when the workday is over. As further insult when I actually do open my mouth and talk about something that I'm intrested in the converstation dies fast. *Ugh*
