Just had a nostalgic memory of remembering how many head shops were around my area...
I remember getting some cool blacklight posters from them back in the day ...
Today, there's none.
Are they illegal now ?

What's a head shop?

Basically a hole in the wall store where you can buy drug paraphernalia including bongs, roach clips and incense.

They also sold stuff like posters, clothing and nicknacks

We've got'em around here but they used to be kinda cool (black light posters and all). Now they tend to look like odd tobacco shops with glass water pipes and stuff.

Wow thats a name that I never heard for a shop......sounds crazy!!! We have several here,I had one guy try to sell me a hydroponic kit to grow.I was like hell no just like the smell of it.The stores here have all the cool black light posters and crazy things.

We still have one over in Wesmont IL. I still stop in once in a while but it has been a while.

We have one down town Janesville.

They sell all kinds of "tobacco accessories" and "tobacco user paraphernalia" in their stores.
(Pipes, bongs....etc.)

They got a bunch of other stuff there also. Posters, shirts and what you find in a "head shop."

It is not illegal because they sell these items for the hard core tobacco users.

There's one about 2 blocks from the university here in town. The name used to be The Highway Headshop years ago but when they moved near the university they changed the name to The Highway Boutique. It's easy to spot because they have a huge painting on the front upper half of the building and on the sides of mushrooms in psychedelic colors with their business name in the middle of it.

They don't call them that here...., or atleast 15 yrs ago they didn't ... the last time I was pretty much ever in 1. Most here are over-ran by Asians ..
