A film based on a Big Jims Pack is a neat idea! but its been done as The A-team and The 1975 Doc Savage Film

I think they could combine the two and build a whole mythos around the characters. Especially if you played up Max Steel a bit like Dr. Venture in that he's the son of a famous adventurer.
