One of the best actresses ever -- and one of the most alluring -- Eva Marie Saint was just phenomenal legend in films. From "On the Waterfront" to which she won an Academy Award, or starring alongside Cary Grant in "North by Northwest," she was a tremendous actress. That film was arguably Alfred Hitchcock's greatest film! Yes, "Rear Window" and "Psycho" were great. However, "North by Northwest" was just a dynamite piece of cinematic history! I also loved Eva in "The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming!" She was fantastic in that as well! Truly one of the last living actresses of "The Golden Age of Hollywood." Eva was always a very gracious through-the-mail signer. She gladly signed the 8x10 photo I sent her years ago. Eva Marie Saint was 102 years old.
