R.I.P. Will Murray

Pulp historian and writer Will Murray has passed. Murray was an expert on pulp heroes such as The Shadow and Doc Savage and was the main writer to continue The Destroyer series after creator Warren Murphy and Richard Sapir stopped producing books. He also wrote the Destroyer comics for Marvel, the prose Nick Fury novel in the 90s, many Doc Savage pastiches, and co-created Squirrel Girl for Marvel with Steve Ditko. All in addition to his scholarly work on the history of the pulps, Doc Savage, the Shadow, etc.
