It's often said things come in threes...well first Dolly Parton, then Tim Curry, now Peter Cullen, our Optimus Prime. But now it can be said about 4's as 1950's pop music singer Jaye P Morgan whom many 70's kids and teens remember as one of the judges on The Gong Show...well the final gong has sounded for her at age 94. She was in her second career on Gong outrageous, opinionated, bawdy, and raunchy. She also caused quite a stir during an appearance by "Gene Gene the Dancing Machine" one day...and let's just say she had "a couple" of things on her mind. I would link the video but won't risk anything. -

Very talented voice actor. He had way more range than often given credit for. Besides his most famous role as Optimus Prime he was also the very un-Optimus sounding Murky Dismal in Rainbow Brite and Eddie and Brat a Rat in Filmation's Ghostbusters.You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

Prime was usally written well, but I give at least 80% of his resonance with the audience to Cullen's thoughtful performance. His Prime was the kind of leader and role model we always wanted, even if we rarely got it in real life. RIP.Comment
