Both of those hits were a result of her collaboration with Jim Steinman, who wrote Meatloaf's "Bat Out of Hell" album (among his many credits). It was really a case of an amazing voice pairing with the right material... and creating something magical. RIP Bonnie (and Jim, for that matter, who passed away a few years back).Comment
