The "Golden Age of Hollywood" actors/actresses are dwindling significantly! What an actress she was. While Ann never really hit it big, her performance in the 1945 classic film "Mildred Pierce" will forever be remembered! Joan Crawford won the Academy Award for her performance in the film (Blythe was nominated). Next to "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" "Mildred Pierce was the next best film Crawford ever did!
Blythe did over 30 films and made numerous TV appearances. She was always so gracious in signing autographs through the mail. She was always so appreciative (which was really nice). It is sad to see her go. Ann was 98.
