The original Super Powers was the last action figure line I ever bought (as a teenager). So great! So I was an enthusiastic buyer of the modern McFarlan version, albeit far from a completist.

So I have been very interested in these Entertainment Earth exclusives. But man, I have no interest in pre-ordering entire waves of 6 figures for $80, when I only really want 1 or 2 figures.

Of the first 12 figures in the first two (of four) waves, I am very interested in New Teen Titans Starfire and Raven, and somewhat intrigued by old man Hal Jordan and Batman Beyond. Zero interest in the other figures.

I remembered late that these went up for pre-order today, but I was able to get them. Might as well finish up the line (I am a bad finisher sometimes, whether it’s the recent DCTV shows, or going way back to Palisades Muppets line).

Got my order in right at noon, no problems. As I said in the SP thread in Modern Toys, I'm so glad EE has made this an easy experience for collectors. McFarlane and GameStop have been horrible to deal with when it comes to exclusives. As for having to order the whole set, so far, it hasn't bothered me because I wanted every character, even if their execution is a little phoned-in (Starfire's torso, for instance). But I do like the character selection we're getting.
