Route 66 partial trip

This year is the 100th anniversary of Route 66! I'm going to be with my family in Albuquerque this week(going to check out the Breaking Bad Tour!).

Then we are heading West on Route 66, what are the recommended stops along the way? We're not going all of the way, and will stop at Nevada, but looking for cool stuff to see.

13 years ago, I did that trip and found out that you too can be "standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona". Such a fine site to see. And there is a flatbed Ford, to boot.

I always dreamed of doing the drive and checking out toy shops and antique markets along the way, but I could never find any info or stories on such places. There is a magazine: Route 66, and there was a tv series called: ABANDONED; that did a wonderful episode on Route 66. But not the information I was looking for.

Well we ended up having a great trip! Did stop at Winslow Arizona and did stand by the corner. We took a train ride from Williams Arizona to the Grand Canyon and that was a lot of fun honestly, everyone enjoyed that a lot and I would recommend it for sure.

Our time in Albuquerque was fun to, the Break Bad tour was super cool! Had lunch at Los Polos Hermanos(actually called Twisters).

Finished it all off in Las Vegas for a few days. Did Hoover Dam, went and saw the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere, went to the F1 facility etc... Family had a great time!
