R. I. P. Donald Gibb

RIP to actor Donald Gibb who has passed away at the age of 71. Donald passed Tuesday evening due to health complications. He says he died at his home in Texas, where he was surrounded by family, including his kids, who loved him deeply.

Best remembered for Revenge of the Nerds, Bloodsport, U.S. Marshals, and Hancock.

I was one of those lucky ones who had a chance to meeting with Don back in the 90's (I think). I was at a Conversation and he overheard me talking to another guy (duh) and he heard my TX accent the next thing I know we were talking about TX during his break. Great guy.

Gibb always seemed to show up in lots of guest starring roles too. Last few months have not been kind to the nerds cast.
