    RIP Robert Duvall

One of the greatest actors of all-time has died. Whether it was "Apocalypse Now" or "The Godfather" this guy was just brilliant. Of course, he won an Academy Award in 1983 for "Tender Mercies." He was truly and actor's actor. He had so much range in the characters he could and did portray on screen. His long list of movies and TV appearances speak for themselves. His legacy and body of work will live and last forever. Robert was 95.

All I can say is what an amazing career and what a great actor.
Also, wow, we lost 2 M.A.S.H. movie cast members within days of one another.

My father will be crushed. Lonesome Dove may be his favorite piece of entertainment ever, and Duvall is at least 75% of the reason why.

One of the true greats. There's no one to replace him.

I rewatched To Kill a Mockingbird today, due to Duvall's passing. He has a small but pivotal role. He never utters a word, but commands the screen in his first film.

Also one of the best movies ever.

You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.
