Oh wow............I cannot believe "Meathead" is dead. One of the most prolific (and polarizing) characters ever, his character on "All in the Family" was a perfect foil to Carroll O'Connor's Archie Bunker. While the show would never exist today, it was hilarious back in the day. Rob Reiner, who won two Emmy Awards on the show, was just brilliant. In addition, what a director!!!! "Stand by Me" is arguably one of the best coming-of-age films ever made. In addition, "When Harry Met Sally" "Misery" "Princess Bride" -- the man was just brilliant. He was always a very gracious through the mail signer for me.

Sad to see 2025 bookended with longtime beloved entertainers being found dead with their spouses (Hackman. Though, looks like Reiner's death is far more nefarious).
What a career though...RIP
