Day 22 of our tour through Conan/Robert E. Howard related material-today we have the 2 volumes of the Barry Windsor Smith Archives collecting the Conan comics he did for Marvel

I'm not a huge fan of the remastered colors on these, but it saves the wear and tear on my early Conan back issues when I want to pull these out to read.

Day 23, featuring the Marvel Index to Conan and the Barbarians published by Pacific Comics in 1976. This indexes not only Conan, but all the other barbarian characters Marvel had published, by Howard and others. Art by Tim Conrad.

For Day 24, i's one of the items celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Marvel's Conan the Barbarian #1, this issue of Back Issue Magazine looks at Marvel's Conan, Dark Horse's Conan, Marvel's other barbarians, and Roy Thomas' other barbarian hero-Arak, Son of Thunder.

For Day 25, I have here a partial set of the 2004 Conan trading card set plus some of the chase cards. I picked this up about a year and a half ago for $5 form my friend's vintage toy store-Roma Collectibles & Toys. It's owner Arron, had just gotten a cancer diagnosis, and I was grabbing a few things to show support, and he had this in his case with some other trading card sets. I was unfamiliar with the set, but it was Conan and only $5 so I added it to my pile of stuff that day.
