It's fun to see those but I don't remember them. About the only Christmas commercials I can actually remember is a coke commercial and one where Santa is riding an electric shaver.

I never even heard of Toys R Us until maybe the late 80's or early 90's. We didn't have them where I lived. We had Child World.
Also the McDonald's commercial I don't remember but I do recognize the song so i probably remember another version of it.

That Coke commercial is awesome.

Here's Child World commercial (and a Two Guys, Mays, Ronco..) but I couldn't find one with the memorable jingle, "There's no other world like Child World..." although you can hear the music from the jingle in the background and the lady does say the phrase at the end.

Hey, my mom and I used to shop at May's. And my friend Donald had that record vacuum. It never worked as well as they said, 'cos you had to put record cleaning solution in and it always streaked along the records as the spun around. I was better off w/ the manual brush.
