Beatles Anthology 2025

anyone else excited for this? I am stoked. the first 3 have been out of print on vinyl for a while and are fairly pricey. I am happy to be able to get the new set and especially for the new volume 4. Yes, I know a lot of what is on 4 has already been released but there is also stuff that has not yet been released.

I have been seeing a lot of negativity about it on Facebook. I mean if you don't want it, don't buy it. No need to be so negative about it. be happy for those who want it

Is this a reissue of the Anthology series that came out back in the 90's? How much unreleased stuff is there?


In the last year I have been collecting old Beatles interviews, just to hear the Lads talk about life, the Universe and everything.



Other than that, I might score some old Denny Laine albums, that I don't have.

And I still NEED to get George 's Wonderwall lp.

I'll be buying the 4th volume of Anthology on CD-I would like if it'd be released in a classic fatboy CD case to match the originals, but I'm guessing they'll go the digipack route like they did with the "Live at The BBC Volume 2" release.

it is a remastered release of the first 3 anthology sets along with a new 4th volume. the 4th volume has some of the more recent remastered stuff, but also a bunch of previously unreleased takes on songs and remastered 2025 mixes of Free as a bird and Real Love. you can find the track listings online. Love Denny, I have a lot of his stuff on LP. though a lot of what he put out was just repackaged collections of his hits. they were working on a remaster of his Holly Days album when he fell ill. his wife has said she will get back to working on that
