    Michael Madsen RIP (Damn)

Shoot!!! One of the greatest and most underrated actors has died. Literally, when you think of Quentin Tarantino, you have to think of Michael Madsen! From the phenomenal "Reservoir Dogs," where he was "Mr. Pink," to playing "Budd" in "Kill Bill" Volumes 1 and 2, this guy was just a great actor. To this day, articles are still being written about the iconic scene in "Reservoir Dogs," when Mr. Pink slowly and methodically cuts off a police officer's ear all the while dancing to Stealer's Wheel "Stuck in the Middle with You." He was also in Tarantino's "The Hateful Eight" and "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." He also did many other non-Tarantino films as well. What a shame. What an actor! Fortunately, I wrote to him at his Malibu, CA. home several times. He was always a very, very gracious through-the-mail signer. Michael died of a heart attack. He was 67.

Buscemi got stuck with that. He was Mr. Blonde. Always thought he would have made a great Batman.
You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

Several years ago (maybe a decade or more), I saw him on two different 'celebrity rehab' TV shows. He was a very troubled man who did not look well, and by his own retelling for TV cameras, his life had been a mess for years and his career had been badly damaged. When I first saw the news of his death, my initial instinctual thought was, "I hope he's now found some peace."
