    Thanksgiving: Traveling or staying home?

So is it gonna be an over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house we go kinda day, or are the relatives coming to you? Or maybe it's just immediate family? Or are you being a grump and not celebrating?

I think for my part it may be a me, myself and I kinda day. A co-worker was supposed to come over, but she's the grump who doesn't wanna celebrate. She may still show up though. I'm still cooking for me! I love leftovers. And even though my mom is gone, I have a lot to be thankful for.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

As the token Canadian in my office, I'm working (at time and a half plus holiday pay. Woo hoo!) so that my American co-workers can have the day off. That's cool because they always let me have Canadian Thanksgiving off, so it works out well for everyone.

Staying home. I have a big family party on Saturday so my family and I opted not to visit anyone......Also having a non traditional dinner for Thanksgiving. Well for Americans it's non-traditional. For latinos it's the norm Pernil with Rice and pigeon peas..... and pasteles I'm making the Turkey for the party on Saturday

            Staying home.

My mom and I tag team and cook everything together (my sister can't even make a bloody sandwich, lol).

We invite a couple of friends over...simple...just the way we like it.

Going upstate NY, about 5 hour drive 30+ family members getting together. Should be fun!

I'm staying home and just had my Thanksgiving dinner.

A can of Clam Chowder with toast on the side ... and 2 Tastykake butterscotch Krimpets for dessert
