    The serials are really underappreciated.

I have not seen Gone With The Wind and don't have any plans to in the forseeable future. I could be wrong but my take on why this film is considered a "classic" is that it's a tale of the American South in the good ol' days when black people were enlsaved and the white race in America was pure. I get that vibe from people who like it.

Now prior to this the big film I had refused to see was The Godfather. My reasons behind that were I am Italian-American and growing up with many Italians in school they idolized that lifestyle, a criminal lifestyle, and aspired to be what The Godfather was. I did watch it on TV as an adult when I knew something more about film-making and appreciated it not as a sales pitch for being a gangster but an anaysis of what their lives were like. So perhaps I will change my opinioon if I see GWTW but for now I have no interest in seeing it.

I have to tell my twister story,it was like 13 years ago or so I went to see twister in my pick-up truck at the drive in.
Out of nowhere this crazy storm starts up all around the drive-in rain coming down in sheets, hail crazy winds it was insane.I had to watch most of the movie with my wipers going.Seriously that experience alone made that movie so good it was as if you were in the movie.
I watched years later at home on DVD and not as good as I remember...LOL

I actually liked Twister when I first saw it. Now...not so much.

...and my favorite scene is not even the twisters themselves...it's when the crew gather and eat those humongous steak & eggs with mashed potato/gravy plates...that was my kinda scene...

I still like it, every time I go to universal studios and go to the ride I have to watch it when I get back home

Was Twister the one where the tornado picked up the cow and tractor trailer ?

                                That was pretty good
