I love Citizen Kane - a lot of the importance of the movie is because of the innovations and techniques it brought to film - acting, writing, visually and most importantly, it's use of sound - historically it totally changed the game for how movies were made.

BUT don't feel bad if you didn't like it that much. Unless you're a film nerd that stuff really shouldn't matter. It's still just a movie.

I saw it in the theatre and I giggled a little when I ordered the ticket - I couldn't help it. I did think it was great though.

I always wanted to see Quadrophenia when I was a young lad and finally saw it the otherday. Still pretty good too.

Funny, my girlfriend has a walk by scene in Urban Legend. I just can't be bothered to sit thru a whole movie just to look at the back of her head, which I can see any old time.
Also have a friend who had a speaking part in one of the new George Romero "blank of the dead" movies. I watched it up until he got killed and then turned it off. he was the guy on a skateboard if anybody knows what movie I'm talking about.
The only "big" movie that I can't believe I've never seen in Godfather 2. I own the boxset like Sammy, but just never watched it.

To Kill A Mockingbird is great! I hope you watch that one someday, the other two are boring, Citizen Kane is worth watching if you have nothing better to do,but by now everbody knows "Rosebud" is his *SPOILER ALERT* sled.
Frankly,Gone With The Wind, I don't give a damn about.

I ran a video store for 6 years and run a movie theatre now. I don't think there's any truly big movie I haven't seen, except for the new Twilight movies, which are huge for the younger crowd. You couldn't pay me to watch those.

I guess Dark Knight is a pretty big one. I've skipped almost all of the modern comic movies.

Did anyone see Celebrity Jeopardy last week with the final Jeopardy category being Film Directors. The question was "His 1930s & '40s work is associated with sentimentality so his name is often combined with "corn""?

To me it was a softball question since these were all celebrities who work in radio, television, and movies so this should be right up their ally but only one of them got the answer right.
