We lost one of the good ones today. RIP to Aaron Detrick, one of my con kith & kin, who lost his fight with cancer today. Aaron was a shining light in the comic & toy collecting community here, showing us all how to do it the right way, he was a beacon of love and respect for all. Aaron was a staple at comic and toy shows throughout the midwest and elsewhere. His business grew as a G.I. Joe focused con vendor and grew into one of the best local vintage toy stores in our community. Aaron received a sudden and unexpected stage 4 cancer diagnosis last year and fought it with the grace and strength he demonstrated everywhere in his life. He lost his battle today leaving those who knew him heartbroken. Not sure if anyone here ever encountered Aaron in their con journey or Joe collecting. If you had, you would remember him, he was a big personality and always made everyone feel like a welcome friend.
Rest well Aaron. You will be missed.
