Johnny Russell RIP

I had almost forgotten about him! He was mean tough to track down through the mail. I never did get his autograph! Johnny Russell (real name John R. Countryman) was a fantastic child star during the Golden Age of Hollywood. He did some major films in the late 30's and early 40's. He acted with some of the greatest actors: Tyronne Power, Henry Fonda, Barbara Stanwyck, Shirley Temple, Jimmy Stewart, etc. He later worked as a Diplomat. This included working 4 years in Ronald Regan's cabinet. John was 91.

When I first seen the title of this thread, I was thinking "How can this be about Johnny Russell, he's been dead 23 years". I only knew of the Country Music Singer/songwriter, so that's where that came from.
